I mean, could it die, in its current form? Sure, and any of us could also get hit by a bus this afternoon. While I’m glad so many of y’all would miss this place if it’s gone, as would I, we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves aren’t we? Whichever way this goes down, I have no doubt that the OPPO community will live on (somewhere else, if not here in the Kinjaverse).

Just lots of people saying their goodbyes and mourning the loss of OPPO. Gawker was sold to Ziff Davis, and the future of Jalopnik and OPPO is up in the air right now. Nothing is certain, though.
